Revising encompasses everything. I pay particular attention to the construction of the text or manuscript as a whole Is it consistent and easy to understand? Would it be better to rearrange, omit, shorten or lengthen sections, or to add new passages? What other amendments would improve the text, for example in terms of style? And most importantly, do the sentences all make sense?
I also ensure the document is consistent throughout, for example with regards to information density and language, and check that the text and images correspond with each other.
On request I can also prepare the manuscript for graphic design (typesetting).
